I have noticed little globs of oil in my exhaust when flushing on the hard before winterizing. Engine is a four cycle Detroit 8.2. Engine also used excessive oil on last five hour run. What is the most likely cause of this situation?

When I had that issue with my Lehman it was a leaking oil cooler.
