I bought this several years ago, and never got around to installing it in the boat I purchased it for.  Current boat does not have room for the 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" instrument case.  Display is 3 7/8" diagonally, (2 1/4" high, and 3 1/4" wide).  Case would be 1" proud of the mounting, and 2 3/8" hole in the mounting surface for the connections in the back.  The read out is monochrome LCD, on one side is a circular compass field, at top it says "heading Steer".  I have never hooked it up, so I don't know how the actual display figures are arranged or size..  This is not NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000, however, I believe that it works with the ComNav autopilots, since instructions are also for hook up to ComNav autopilot, or a Nexus server.  The fluxgate compass is made by Silva (Sweden).

Includes installation instructions, fluxgate compass (about 4 3/8" diameter, and 2" proud of mounting surface--, cable fitting diameter about 5/8" diameter and about 1" below back surface of fluxgate  compass transducer.), display, about 25 feet of  wire attached to back of fluxgate transducer, and fittings to both mount wires to the display and cover for the back of the display and installation manual.

Condition: new, never used.  Price: $40, plus shipping. (should be $5 to $10 ground).  Original West Marine price was marked $429.  Not current item.
