Greetings from: "Hannah's Mommy" on the Erie Canal-
Mariners are advised of a temporary reduction in available water depth on the
Erie Canal between Lock E-25 and Lock E-26. Operational problems with a water
control structure at Lock E-25 have left the water level nearly one foot below
normal levels. The canal Corp. is working to resolve this problem and return
water levels to normal. Any updates and changes in canal status will be
available at www.canals.state.ny.us and 1-800-4CANAL4.
Also- Champlain Canal has re-opened from Lock C-11 to Lock C-12. Be advised
that the controlling vertical clearance for the Champlain Canal has been
reduced to 15.5'., Watch out for Debris!!! Closures may be necessary over the
weekend depending on the track of Hurricane Charlie.
Update: OOPS! For any of you that read my desperate plea for a MHJ7103
PRESTOLITE STARTER: I said it was for 24volt- It's actually 32volt. If anyone
has any leads- Please send them my way or contact me- Thank you-
Wishing you safe and healthy travels.......
