Following up on a report from earlier in the week - last night (May 19th) a Chuck-will’s-widow was calling on Brewers Road (south of Hill Top Road) south of Picton in Prince Edward County. This is around the corner from where the individual was in 2014 (perhaps the same bird). It started calling at 8:41 and was moving around a fair bit on the east side of the road making it difficult to stay on top of. I did manage an audio recording and will be posting to eBird.
Directions: from Picton take County Road 10 south for approximately 20km, turn right (SW) onto Royal Drive, then left on Brewers Rd past Hill Top Road.
