Getting to St. Lawrence Seaway

Well, you are right, but being a homeboy from Lake Champlain, I think he
really should see it! And the eastern section of the Erie is dismal as hell
(well , perhaps overstated, but not by much), as far as I have observed.

But, you are right, it's not the only way. But, with his boat, the
Champlain section is both shorter and much more scenic.

Why do you exclude Erie/Oswego Canals to SE Lake Ontario as a

possibility? I

think this route gives him enough depth and a few more feet of air draft.
