10/26/12 - Barkhamsted yard -- at first light; 2 Common Redpoll and 1
Red Crossbill flyovers. Also an American Woodcock.

10/26/12 - Ellington yard -- Just had visits from the female RUFOUS
HUMMINGBIRD at my feeder.  Still have many Pine Siskins plus two pair
of Purple Finch.

Goose, and Greater White-Fronted goose among 1000+ Canada geese.

Golden Eagle.  Also 1 Juvenile NORTHERN GOSHAWK, 2 RUSTY BLACKBIRDS, 2
American Pipits.

10/26/12 - Milford, Milford Point -- at least 17 Snow Buntings, a
White-rumped Sandpiper.

10/26/12 - Milford, Milford Point, Piping Plover spit -- 11:00 AM to
1:00 PM; 32 Snow Bunting, 21 Nelson's Sparrow.  One crisp Nelson's
(number 19) sported a bright yellow-orange breast, face. Looked like
Sibley's (and Beadle and Rising's) adult interior.
Milford yard -- 10:15 AM; Yellow-billed Cuckoo.

Red-breasted Nuthatches.

Viewed from the parking lot off Depot street from 3:30pm to almost
4:45pm.  At the far end of the marsh, easily found, best with a scope.
