Good morning birders!

The sun greeted enthusiastic crowds this morning at Point Pelee, as did a
few new arrivals.

A PRAIRIE WARBLER was seen at the tip, but just like yesterday, most of the
action was at Woodland Nature Trail.  Yesterday's LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH
sneakily continued on the north loop, seen only by patient birders.  The
continuing WORM-EATING WARBLER was also elusive, providing only a few
looks.

On the Woodland Nature Trail, PROTHONOTARY WARBLERS showed in a few
locations, and a HOODED WARBLER impressed viewers by bridge F.  A KENTUCKY
WARBLER was briefly seen at the intersection of Woodland Nature Trail and
Redbud Footpath.  A WHITE-EYED VIREO and BLUE-WINGED WARBLER also popped up
sporadically on Woodland Nature Trail.

Good Birding!

Pratt and Emma Burbidge

Good morning Birders,
Another cool sunny morning greeted birders at the Park. The wind was light
out of the SE which prompted many species to move off the Tip. Include were
many BALTIMORE and ORCHARD ORIOLES, blackbirds, and others including
BOBOLINK, SCARLET TANAGER, INDIGO BUNTING, KINGBIRD, RED-HEADED WOODPECKER
and a few Warblers. In the Woodland Nature Trail there were a number
interesting species such as HOODED WARBLER, YELLOW-THROATED and WHITE-EYED
VIREO, PROTHONOTARY WARBLER, and BLUE-WINGED WARBLER.
YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT was noted just north of the parking area beside the
Festival tent along the main road for a short period. At the north end of
Tilden Woods someone saw a YELLOW-THROATED VIREO. The PILEATED WOODPECKER
seen at the Tip yesterday was seen again at White Pine.
We have not had any Update from Hillman.
Good Birding,

Hello Everyone!

I  apologize for this late post .
I could not access the internet while in Essex County.  Grrrrh!
For people interested in Chimney Swifts; or fanatics  like me that don't
give up after sundown this is a report of chimney swifts roosting  in
Leamington.

Saturday, May 7,  I witnessed 100-200 CHSW roost in Leamington.  Their
roost is the Leamington Post Office at Queens Ave . (sic)  and John St..
This  Building has the typical square brick chimney but it is the lowest
I've ever  seen that the CHSW roost in.
2048 hrs The cloud of swifts was assembling above the Post office.
2052 hrs  They descended  into the chimney en masse. .

Spectacular!
It is a sight to behold!
Please email me privately as required
