I bought one of those A026 Quark receiver units and a Glomex splitter, $160, and use it only to transmit by its built in WiFi so we can see on our iPads for Aquamap and Navionics. We mostly have used it for entertainment purposes to stalk interesting boats around us and to see other boaters that we had met in prior anchorages and we could say hello. Was going to spend the $800 on a Vesper 8000 unit last year but it hasn’t made it to the top of the wish list yet.
