Hi Bernard,
You should have at least the middle forward window hinged. All summer and
even during rain you'll have that window open at least a crack. Try to have
this screened to keep out bugs on summer nights (until you get air
conditioning). I'm not sure how to work this with windshield wipers, mine
only has one wiper on the helm window. I also have a noisy fan for
defrosting. It only makes noise when it is on because I need it. It doesn't
make any noise when it is off so I never fix it. The best, absolutely THE
BEST are opening dutch doors on the saloon/helm doors. If you can at all work
this into your design - go for it.
