Think outside the box!

Home Depot and Lowes both have a variety of PVC garden storage boxes that work
fine on a boat at greatly reduced cost when compared to a fiberglass deckbox.
You may have to paint one to match your hull colors.

Having both types on my boat, I could find no advantage to having fiberglass
other than having a better seal to keep out moisture, but even this can be
beefed up on a PVC case. If you store lines, anchors, fenders, etc. in a PVC
box, they are unlikely to suffer from moisture.
