Web Connect Providers

So what web connect provider works out here in the PNW?  I tried T-
Mobile but their web connect device would not work w/ my W7 Toshiba
Satellite laptop.  It did work w/ my MacMini + bootcamp + W7 but I
need something that works w/ both.  After hours on the phone I don't
really need to hear any "try T-Mobile again" suggestions.  Our travel
area is Puget Sound (Salish Sea) to SE Alaska.  Cell providers are
the usual in the US and Rogers or Telus in Canada.  Looking for
something besides WiFi.
Thanks,
Tom

I have been using Verizon's 3G network with good results. It roams into
Canada up through Johnston Straits. I use the Kyocera KR-2 router/access
point to rebroadcast through the boat. If you use a router/AP, make sure
that your 3G device is supported. I am currently using the Verizon USB727
device made by Novatel.

Make sure that you signup for Canada roaming though Verizon, otherwise the
cost is really high.

Using it now in Nanaimo, BC.
