We use both. Nothing like being comfy in the main salon and driving the boat
when the weather goes to crap. Rolling around in seas is a bit less
uncomfortable at the lower station rather than the flybridge. Chuck

Chuck said it all. I'm up top when the weather is good, and I'm dry and stable below when it's too wet and rolly up top. That's just
why they make boats with two helms!
Of course if you only intend to leave the dock when the weather is perfect, and hide when the weather turns snotty, then just one
helm would work.
