You  go, Ron!

Hell,  do what the fishermen do. Find a sheltered spot and then:

For  mud, run the boat up on a mudbank on a falling tide, drink some beer and
get some sleep before the next high tide.

For  rock or coral, deploy your rebar anchor, drink some (more) beer and get
some sleep. When you awake, heave your rebar anchor - it will always bend
and release without a trip line.

Regards,

John
"Seahorse"

Guys,  we're comparing apples and zebras here. Who knows what an 88 pound

Bruce  would do on your DeFever? Heck, Jeffrey's DeFever is moored to a
granite  block right and doesn't drag. Should we carry one of those  around?
