11/03/14 - Watertown, Lake Winnemaug -- 1 PM; 10 adult male EVENING
GROSBEAKS, apparently feeding somewhere in a weedy field when a
Red-tailed Hawk passed close and spooked them.

11/03/14 - Greenwich, Quaker Ridge -- 5 GOLDEN EAGLES (all juvs) were
seen over the course of the day with 1 at 8:50 AM and 4 between 3-4
PM. a light-morph, adult female ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK seen at 12:47 over
the building.

11/03/14 - New Haven, Lighthouse Point hawk watch -- one imm GOLDEN
EAGLE.

11/03/14 - Bloomfield, Filley Pond -- 2 PM; a CACKLING GOOSE, an adult
SNOW GOOSE, & an adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL.

11/03/14 - Farmington, Batterson Pond -- 1 female RED-BREASTED
MERGANSER.

11/03/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 32 Snow Buntings in the
larger parking lot at East Beach.

11/03/14 - Hamden? Woodbridge>, West Rock -- two Golden Eagles and 3
Sandhill Cranes. The Sandhill Cranes were toward the north end of the
park road heading due west.

From Zachary Adams:
11/03/14 - Milford, Milford Point -- WESTERN SANDPIPER,  around 25
SNOW BUNTINGS.

From Meredith Sampson with Cynthia Ehlinger & 14 hardy participants:
11/02/14 - Old Greenwich, Greenwich Point -- 2 BROWN CREEPERS,
immature WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW.
