Documentation is an easy process.  All that is necessary to fulfill the
requirement of proof is a copy of the old documents, bill of sale and copy of
your application for document--this is far better than a letter from a
document service.

We just returned from two months in the Bahamas.  In approximate
chronological order: the autopilot went on the fritz, the weather
was too windy, we hit a coral head severely damaging the prop and
rudder, the weather was too windy, we were burgled at anchor in
Nassau harbor, the weather was too windy, and the refrigerator
unit went on the fritz.  But we caught two nice dolphin, about 10
and 25 lbs, and met a lot of really great folks out there.

It's good to be home to Stuart.  After a short trip by car to
attend my family reunion, we'll be hauling out in Indiantown to
straighten the rudder, repair the prop, and paint the bottom.
Then the plan is to head to the FL W coast, up to Mobile, AL, up
the Tenn-Tom, and cruise the Tennessee and Cumberland rivers for
the summer.

Wayne Flatt muses:

Mark, I have been wondering about that for the last few years.  It seems
that the Bahamas has similar weather to Florida except it is more open.
That means more wind.

Our northern friends may like Florida weather, but it is too windy and cold
for this displaced Arizona boy in Jan through March.

That means to me, that summer is the best time to visit the Bahamas.  Just
as I prefer summer in SW Florida.

Damn the Torpedos and Hurricanes.  Full speed ahead for the Exumas next
spring.  Maybe we will have to do Central America in the winter.

It is good to hear you are home safely, if slightly perturbed.
