12/10/14 - Haddam, Haddam Meadows State Park -- 1 Northern Shrike at
9:55 am along riverbank footpath just north of the boat launch. Look
in tree tops, big and small.

12/10/14 - Litchfield, Bantam Lake -- One RED-NECKED GREBE in
association with large Common Merganser flock off Point Folly.

12/10/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- SNOWY OWL, immature
female NE from Cedar Isle Platform 2:30 PM.

12/10/14 - Greenwich, Tods Point Park -- One 1st Year Snowy Owl seen
perched at the top of a tree on the lawn heading 3/4 of the way down
from the large inscribed boulder towards the Sound, adjacent to the
Holly Grove Area.  The Snowy seemed very calm, and didn't even notice
a dog walker passing directly underneath it's branch.

12/10/14 - Old Lyme, Hawk's Nest Marsh -- 2 Northern Pintail.
Long Island Side -- 9 Common Eider, 2 Purple Sandpiper.

12/09/14 - Hamden, backyard, ground feeding station -- 7 RUSTY
BLACCKBIRDS.

12/09/14 - Stonington, Stonington Point -- 22 COMMON EIDER, NORTHERN
GANNET.  Tough viewing with the fading light, fog, and rain.  Very few
birds in the air.
