The thread on cleaning bimini tops got me thinking it would be a good time
to also recondition or waterproof the top, mine is made of Sunbrella, and
rain soaks through and drips a bit during rains.
I have seen some products for this in the marine stores and also remember
reading threads on some home made mixes maybe it was using Thompson's
Waterseal?
Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thompson's Waterseal? (endsnip)
I wouldn't use Thompsons on Sunbrella. The product I've used for 6 or 8
years is 303 Fabric Guard. Made for those purposes, and does a great job. My
bimini is 10 years old, and I've treated it twice. Doesn't leak a drop. (I
am in a covered slip, so it hasn't gotten the beating from the sun like most
do) All of the 303 products I've used have been great products. No
connection...........
By the way, you'll wear your finger out with the small squirt bottles. I buy
the gallon size and use a garder sprayer.

Brett's suggestion is what Sunbrella says, except they give instructions on
how to clean first. Do what Brett says, which is what Sunbrella says, which
is what every canvas shop says.
