Hello.

The Telephone Room's current exhibition Home Sweet Home will be viewable
until Wednesday, June 10 and we haven't seen most of you yet!

Home Sweet Home is inspired by home, handiwork and decor and
features watercolors by Laura Komada http://www.laurakomada.com/,
knit-works by Paul Komada http://www.paulkomada.com/ (both from Seattle)
and quilting by Noal Nyland (from Lakewood). There will be a final open
house for Home Sweet Home on Wednesday, June 10 from 5-8 pm.

We are also always viewable by appointment! Please email us at
thetelephoneroom@gmail.com to visit by appointment.

(Attached image: Laura Komada, Untitled (bigfoot and tree), Watercolor, 9
x 12 1/4 inch, 2009.)

The Telephone Room is the world's second-smallest (Hello Tollbooth
Galleryhttp://www.tollboothgallery.org/!)
art gallery at 12 ½ square feet. It is located in a Dutch Colonial home at
3710 North 7th Street in Tacoma and since 1930, its sole purpose has been to
house a black rotary dial telephone. Until now...

Small is Big. The Telephone Room is small, but its mission is big: to house
artist-driven exhibits and programming. Big ideas in an intimate space.

Up Next:
*Jeremy Mangan at the Telephone Room Gallery
*June 17 - July 31, 2009
open house on Wednesday, June 17 from 5-9 pm
Jeremy will be creating a life-size 3D painting of a shot-dead old-west
gunfighter in a pine box, within the Telephone Room.

Hope to see you soon!
