Just a comment on cellphone coverage.  We cruise in the PNW where there are
lots of low signal areas.  After purchasing a Wilson Antenna (made in
British Columbia, Canada) we now have a good signal where, in the past, the
signal was marginal.  An instance comes to mind, Lagoon Cove, were everyone
was going to the top of the hill to make a call, we were getting and
receiving calls in our boat.

This is a small antenna that plugs into the back of the phone.  It works
even sitting inside the boat.  Has a magnetic base which I put on the top of
a small metal box.

Obviously, once you get around Cape Caution and there is no signal it does
not help.  But sure helps if you have a week signal.

No interest in Wilson Antennas.  Just thought it might help someone.
