The sea chest on our boat is 26 inches long, 13 inches wide, and 23 inches deep. All seacocks except the air conditioning seacock exit from the top of the sea chest. The A/C seacock exits from the side of the sea chest. The sea chest has 66 holes (1/2 inch diameter each) in the floor of the sea chest that is open to the sea. The holes function as a strainer.
