[image: image.png] My name is Donovan and I am a filmmaker in Tacoma. In 2019 I began writing a film script about a genetically engineered humanoid robot that goes in search of its creator. I was inspired by the many beautiful arthouse films I had recently discovered while learning about filmmaking. In the fall of 2021, I began production along with a whole team of actors, production assistants and filmmaking professionals to complete a short version of my story. We completed the final cut in January and began submitting it to film festivals. It has never screened publicly before until this *Friday at 2 pm at Northwest Folklife in Seattle Center at the SIFF Theater.* Please join me there and experience a selection of handpicked films playing on the big screen as part of the Northwest Folklife Film Forum.
