From Stefan Martin:
12/02/14 - Greenwich -- 8:50 AM; Female Harlequin Duck very distant
off Steamboat Avenue in Greenwich. The bird was directly in front of
Great Captains Island. Presumably the same bird Patrick Dugan had
yesterday flying west from Stamford.

From Bill Batsford:
12/02/14 - New Haven, Beaver Pond Park -- 11 Rusty Blackbird.

From Tina Green:
12/02/14 - Westport, Sherwood Island State Park -- Brown Thrasher in
the spruce grove.

From Paul Desjardins:
12/02/14 - East Hartford, along the Hockanum River Linear Trail --
morning; Winter Wren, Brown Creeper.

From Jan Collins:
12/02/14 - Enfield, Barnes Boat Launch -- RED-NECKED GREBE continues
this morning.

From Jack Swatt:
12/02/14 - Avon, Fisher Meadows -- The GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE and
dark morph SNOW GOOSE (BLUE GOOSE) were both there again today.  Also
there were 3 NORTHERN PINTAILS (2 drake, 1 hen) (in with the
mergansers and Canada Geese).

From Hank Golet:
12/02/14 - Old Lyme, Great Island -- PEREGRING FALCON.
Westbrook, Menunketesuck Mud Flats -- 2 PURPLE SANDPIPER.
Deep River, Pratt Cove -- This is a low tide spot; I was there around
1:30. 12 NORTHERN PINTAIL.

From Steve Morytko:
12/02/14 - Mansfield, Hansen's Pond off Wormwood Hill Road -- Redhead
has been among a flock of ~100 Ring-necked Ducks at the far end of the
pond for at least 2 days and in the past Ring-necked Ducks often stay
there until the pond freezes. Easiest (but distant) views are from the
dam at the outlet of the pond but a scope is necessary. Otherwise, the
pond is surrounded by private property. You can likely pick it up with
binoculars if you are willing to walk along the road looking through
the trees. Redhead is rather unusual in NE CT.

From Paul Carrier:
12/02/14 - Litchfield, near Little Pond -- adult Northern Goshawk.
