The NORTHRN SHRIKE appeared for about 10 minutes at about 10:45 am in the hedgerow to the right of the light blue ranch style house on Sand Bank Road in Watertown. Bird wasn't there when I arrived and I never saw him go. I looked again about 1 pm and no sign of him then either. There were 2 BLACK VULTURES circling to the north in the vicinity of the high area of Bunker Hill Road which is due north of Sand Bank (which turns north and runs into Bunker hil l at the west end. Also at least 6 Red-tails cavorting there in the strong winds and several Turkey Vultures trying not to turn upside down. There is a great spot off Bunker Hill to view the area from the top of the hill where a new housing development is being built. Only 1 house so far.
