Cedar Lake is in Chester. From Route 9, follow Route 148 west; the lake is approximately 2.5 miles on the right. From Route 81, follow Route 148 east; the lake is approximately 3 miles on the left.
I didn't see the loon when driving by around 8:30am, but it's hard to look and drive at the same time.
