Visitors:
Thanks to Tom B and Ernie G for today's report.
Weather:
Not the most ideal winds today as they were mostly SW for the entire day
which tends to keep the flights smaller and limited to birds already down
along Lake Erie that come through along the lake shore. Almost complete
cloud cover for the day with just a few peaks of sunshine after noon. Temps
cool from 2C to a high of 6C.
Raptor Observations:
Although today's flight was small it made up for it with some quality
birds.... including another 7 Golden Eagles, a nice American Goshawk and a
couple more Peregrines!
Non-raptor Observations:
None reported.
Predictions:
The forecast is for even stronger and gustier SW winds for the day Friday
so the flight will again be of birds most likely to cruise along the cliff
itself or perhaps just slightly inland from the edge.
