Can anyone advise me on when to expect orioles to return?

Last year I put out fruit for the catbirds, ( love catbirds,) and I was so happy
to see Orioles brought to my yard for the first time in 10 years.  I would like
to be ready for them, and hopefully, maybe a pair will like my bird friendly
landscaping and trees and take up residence?

Looking back, Baltimore Oriole reports start becoming more common the last week in April, but early May is when they really have arrived in numbers.

watch your local oak trees. when they flower, the orioles will be there.
