We had Seahawk 44 applied in Trinidad.  We were then in the water of the
Eastern Caribbean for five months, mostly anchored with only about 180 hours
of movement. I checked the bottom every few weeks and found no growth.  When
we were hauled the bottom was clean and only a power wash was required. This
is in contrast to our first year in the Caribbean when we had applied an
ablative paint from the US.  With the US paint we had to clean the bottom
every three weeks.  Perhaps the water was cooler this year or perhaps it was
the bottom paint.

Note everyone Seahawk 44 contains tin so is banned in many countries for
pleasure boats.
