I have scheduled a workshop at King's Books, 218 St. Helen's Ave, Tacoma, for Saturday May 22, 2010, at 10:30 AM to share how I take my images from the camera to a finished product.  I am suggesting a $5 donation for myself and the bookstore.

I will be covering ideas such as: why I shoot jpegs, how to use the histogram on the camera, why I use levels instead of curves, when it is I do use curves, what about screen calibration, some tricks for cropping, using layers, and how I get my spot light effect on my sport portraits.

If you are interested, feel free to just show up.  If you take a minute to RSVP to me at chip@chipshotphoto.com I may know how much coffee to supply (and donut?).  Feel free to ask a question ahead of time to help direct my path for the morning.  I plan to talk at least a couple of hours, and am planning on having regular sessions.

Hope to see many of you there.
