Dear All,
I'm delighted to let you know that Cynthia Bell has agreed to stand for election to the NCL Board as the representative from the Adult Numeracy Network. Two letters of recommendation for Cynthia are attached. Thanks to Rachel for making the connection and making this happen!
This gives us a slate of three: Judy Mortrude, Kevin Maher, and Cynthia Bell. Some of you were working on other possibilities, and we do still have room for one or two more, so please let me know if you have another name to put forward.
I'm also attaching the draft agenda for the members' meeting. Some of the content and timing is still in flux, so LMK if you were expecting (or would like to see) something different. Change and improvement are always possible. ;)
Lastly, I'm taking votes for the timing of the board meeting on Sept 29. Please ping me back with your preference for morning (100 AM - noon eastern) or afternoon (1:00-3:00 PM eastern). Thanks!

Only suggestion would be to also invite Grace Solares - apparently the new
Chris Coro, Cheryl's deputy at DAEL - as she's probably being groomed to be
the next Cheryl. She's been showing up in our OCTAE project calls with
some regularity.
