Here is a followup to my request for information. The Suzuki DF20A EFI arrived and was installed. After a 2 hour breakin half throttle planed the Avon and ran about 20 miles per hour. No strain getting on plane with 2 on board. I installed a U-1 battery that cost $26 dollars and it started the engine about 20 times with no problem. The engine has a 10 amp alternator so it should keep the charge up. I tried the pull starter and it takes a lot of effort. More than I want to do. The engine is easy to tilt up and is really quiet. It came with a 3 gallon tank and 2 1/2 hours of running barely moved the gauge. The people at R and L trucking were a pleasure to deal with as well as the PortABote folks.
