Georgs,

We all owe you a debt of gratitude for your birthing  and sustaining this wonderful list for the last 23+ years.  Certainly a big “thanks” to Bob for his monitoring.  Many of our lives and boating careers have been enriched by the information shared  and the friendships started here.  There are also the early years of Trawler Fest, and those of us who presented and became friends with the other presenters.

Those of us who have come to know Georgs and his dedication to various aspects of boating, including owning a C Dory appreciate his dedication.  Thanks!

I am now 85 and it became apparent that this was finally the time to give up most of our boating.  We are keeping an 18 foot Caracal Catamaran Center Console and a 9’ fatty knees Dinghy.  I started skippering  in races my dad’s 26’ sailboat when I was 13.  (I won the first race and the series I first skippered when my dad was traveling.  That lead to a sailing career of over 40 years and over 200,000 miles.)

Fair winds and following seas to all.
