Bob McLaren asked.

need to find a reliable yard in Lake Champlain

Dennis replies..

Hello Bob! If you still have not yet made a decision on where to have this
done, I'd suggest The Shelburne Shipyard Marina. They are among the largest
and largest of the choices. From there it should be easy to get a rental car
for a few days as well. Easy access to Shelburne Museum (worldclass
collections of Americana and art) and the Teddybear Factory, also in
Shelburne. Burlington is only a ten or so mile drive from there. There is
really no options directly in downtown Burlington, unfortunately. Just north
in Mallets Bay are several other smaller options as well.

Just south of Burlington in Charlotte, VT is Point Bay Marina, a newer
facility with a very good reputation.

I'd opt for the Shipyard, for its proximity to other things to see and do
while fixing the problem. Enjoy the cool mornings in Vermont. The usual
morning temperature in Kissimmee, FL is 78 or so and the high daily is
around 96.
