Our trip south has been interrupted by Hurricane Sandy.. Here we sit at
Atlantic Yacht Basin in Great Bridge/Chesapeake, Virginia.  The effects of
the storm were starting to be felt today, though the worst of it is coming
late tonight and then continuing for the next day or two.  Read more about
our experience with Sandy at

I have to say (so far, at least) if we have to be stuck somewhere to ride
out the storm, we're very happy to be at Atlantic Yacht Basin - we feel that
the boat is very protected here and the staff has been wonderful.  Fingers
crossed that it stays that way!!
