  1. anchor where you feel comfortable  2) dinghy to cove south of fort 3) use
    your oars like paddles to paddle throught very thick sea wead. 4) beach dink
    at two fallen logs parallel to beach to be able to lock and chain kink 5) walk
    toward head of cove un til you see an obvious path, this path takes you to a
    mowed lawn at the head of which is a long wooden staircase. I have marked the
    path along the shore with piles of rocks.  Jon on Valentine.
