Nils and other Albin Owners, To help make a complete record of Albins Engines, gear ratios and props, I send the following Celestial - Albin 43 Sundeck Weight: supposedly 30,000#, but have not actually weighed it. Engines: twin Cummins 6BT5.9M 210 HP Transmissions: Twin Disc Model 502, Ratio 2 : 1 Propellers: Four-blade bronze 24" x 21" NOTE: Engines are under-prop'd as WOT RPM exceeds rated max by 300 RPM. In my earlier post, I reported my Albin 43 as having 135hp Lehmans & 21 x 17 props. I left out that I have BG velvet drive transmissions. They are model # 10-13-000-004. I don't know about the drive ratio. Does anyone know what that would be by the model number? Brent Hodges M/V Friendship

Watch you cruising speed come up at lower RPM. I am riunning a bigger boat and I swing 26 X 24 at 2.5 to one ratio. .
