... there is also close competition for 3rd place in the Non-Spin Sunday/Regatta Series (Sheba vs. The Office in 4th). The Office needs one more qualifying race for this series and to beat a few other boats to surpass Sheba.

According to our RACING RSVP, for Sunday, Oct 12, 12:30 pm, RACING (2), MAYBE(4), NOT RACING(1), all other UNKNOWN (18).

Since my last report on the 2019 Cruising Fleet Standings (incorporating results of the Last Chance Regatta), I've done a thorough review of our rules, race results, and series calculations, Since then, we also have final protest decision from the LCR (no regatta trophy changes). . . - With a few corrections incorporated, The Office now leads in the Fleet Champ series with Sheba hot on her heels.

• Likewise, after the LCR protest decisions and securing 20 qualifying races, Imagine More is within striking distance of Hee Soo for 3rd place in the Fleet Champ Series.
• So races this Sunday, Oct 13, 12:30 p.m. could change the standings in our 2019 Fleet Champ Series.
• Sheba can only pull ahead of The Office if at least 3 PHRF boats (NBC member or guest, with valid 2019 PHRF) race, and Sheba manages to beat enough boats, and The Office doesn't.
• Imagine More could pull ahead of Hee Soo with one bullet on Sunday.

Sheba's hoping at least two other skippers will be tempted to come out Sunday at 12:30 p.m., and give Sheba a shot at the top spot! (RACING RSVP HERE)

Below are the current leaders in the 2019 Cruising Fleet Series:

• Wednesday Series is final.
• Sunday/Regatta series unlikely to change based on Sunday results, unless Spinnaker fleet completes 3 races this Sunday.
• We'll see about the Fleet Champ.
