We ran our 110/220 v 60 hz volt in europe for several years.  First we
purchased a 3 KW transformer at hardware store in Spain (Cadiz  our first
stop).  It would run the washer and dryer, plus the battery charger and
resistive heaters (actually for heat in the winter, we just pruchased a pure
resistive heater for 220 v and a couple of those in the cabins kept the boat
warm.  I ran the microwave off the inverter, but we had a large Freezer
compressor for the holding plate system, and I had to still run the genset 2
hours a day for that.  We often tried to run it the same time we were using
the microwave, or when we needed the Watermaker.

You can certainly go with larger battery banks and inverters, to run more
equiptment--and have bigger battery chargers--ours was only 50 amps--but
running it most of the day when at a dock it kept the batteries up well.
As I recollect the inverter 130 amp  battery charger didn't like the 50 hz--
