Winslow rafts are made in America with the highest quality and best and
brightest materials (colors--to be seen!). Each is made custom, so is
not off the shelf, so the time when it needs to be checked starts later,
not when it was put on the shelf. It also has the longest warranty.
Switlik is a close 2nd. Viking rafts are made of rubber and smell.
Zodiacs next, and Zodiac owns Avon, which are now made in East Europe,
where I'm not sure you can trust the manufacturer. I remember a quote
when I was researching mine: No one wants to spend a lot of money for a
raft, but once in one when your boat goes down, you'll wish you had spent
more money!
