... to all Gators who will take on the beach by foot and by water this
weekend!

It’s back! Our December Rehoboth Beach signature events weekend makes a
triumphant return, and we will be there… On Saturday we run! Then we
party! Then on Sunday morning we party some more! And then we swim! And
finally we come home… We have another party to attend next Friday!

**Weekend workout... **For those not Gators not fortunate enough to be with
us in Delaware, we will also offer our usual Sunday, 11:15am-12:15pm
uncoached group swim in the SVY's indoor lap pool, so you can also swim
(without risk of frostbite)!

**Weekend events... **Here’s who’s doing what this weekend. **If you have
an event this weekend and you are not included on our list below,
PLEEEEAAAASE post a comment **so that we can send Good Gator Beach Vibes

Saturday, December 4:

**Crooked Compass Adventure Trek (Thurmont, MD): **This adventure race,
in which Chris Townsley will be participating, is described as
“part-adventure racing, part-rogaining, and part-walk in the woods”… Chris
has plenty of hair so I guess he can skip the regaining part, but it sounds
like he is still in for an amazing experience… Athletes have up to 10 (!)
hours to find as many checkpoints as possible. Those that are able to
complete the entire course will traverse about 26 miles (hey, another
potential marathon!). Go Chris!
SIGNATURE CLUB EVENT: Rehoboth Beach Seashore Marathon and Half
Marathon (Rehoboth Beach, DE): At last count we have 13 Gators taking on
the half or full challenge. Participants in the full marathon include
Jason Brannen, Kerri Brannen, Joe DeNicola , Keith Ho (fresh off of the
Philadelphia Marathon), and Don Mack. And our half marathon
participants include Karen Dieciedue, Angela Epelbaum, Susan Flavin,
Diane Lynch, Deb Rocco, Lynn Seuberling, Gina Stango, and Beth
Wysoczanski!

Sunday, December 5:

**SIGNATURE CLUB EVENT: RefrigaGator Swim (Atlantic Ocean, Rehoboth
Beach, DE): **The attendance list for our shortest event of the year is
always a bit of a moving target, but we think that the following are at
risk of being peer-pressured significantly enough to take part in a
refreshing ocean swim following our TailGator pre-swim party at the Purple
Parrot… Joe DeNicola, Susan Flavin, Keith Ho, Don Mack, Gina Stango,
and Beth Wysoczanski plus Jeffrey Stango will not let his surgery
recovery disrupt his duties as the director and producer of the
extraordinary film that will capture all of the festivities! Who’s in for
the full submersion?
