Joe, Chas and All
Just for Info we have used Sailrite Stamoid which is sort of a vinyl, rubbery consistincy for
Bike Covers and heavy duty applications where maybe sunbrella might be to light. When you
look at the specifications on Sailrite it is even recommended for Dingy Covers. But you need
a good sewing machine to work with it. We have a Sailrite Sewing Machine Onboard.  We used the Stamoid for the Power Cord Cover.
Little tip. We made a little sort of sunshade for where the cord plugs into the boat from sunbrella it has to snaps on top corners and snaps to the
boat to protect the hubbell plug that attaches to the boat. The mating snaps are attached to the boat.

Safe Cruising.
