RYDER CUP!!!

OK guys, sign-ups open on June 1 for the Ryder Cup at www.road-dawgs.org http://www.road-dawgs.org. August 16 at Marshallia, August 17 at La Purisima, and August 18 at Olivas Links in Ventura.

Like last year, due to IRS complications, when you sign up on the website you will be charged $50. The balance of $300 needs to be mailed (or given) to me in a check made out to Rick Melniker. The address is 4125 Charles Ave, Culver City, CA 90232.

The $350 pays for 5 rounds of golf with cart, buy-in, and our pairings dinner. The pairings dinner will be at Sissy's Uptown Café, http://sissysuptowncafe.com .

Along with the $300 I'll need your dinner order. Also let me know if you'll want dessert. The entree choices are below and include soft drinks/coffee. Your cost includes taxes and service.

Filet Mignon - Jack Daniels Sauce, Mashed Potato, Fresh Vegetables, Green Salad and Assorted Breads - (served medium rare)
Fresh Salmon with Red Pepper Coulis, Mashed Potato, Fresh Vegetables, Green Salad and Assorted Breads -
Walnut Encrusted Chicken Breast, Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Vegetables, Green Salad and Assorted Breads -
Nicoise Salad and assorted breads - (Entrée Size)

Per Richard Myers they have an outstanding wine list. Wine may also be brought in if purchased at their adjoining wine shop. No outside wine/beverages. Separate checks will be provided for wine and/or dessert.

There is limited amount of space if you want to bring a guest. Let me know if you are bringing a guest, what their order is, and remit an extra $30.

Again, like last year, there are other events going on in the Lompoc area that weekend. You should make your hotel reservations accordingly.

Sign-ups close June 30. Checks are due by July 31 and will be deposited then.

As stated before, we have not had to deny entry for anyone who wanted to play the last few years. However, the number of monthly events played in determines Ryder Cup entry priority. It is not too late to sign up for Temecula on June 2 and sign-ups for Eagle Glen in Corona on July 6 open June 1.
