Canadian CG requirements boats over 40 feet

In doing some trip planning I ran across this on the Bluewater Books
web site:

If the vessel that you will be taking to Canada is greater than 40 feet
in length, the Canadian coast guard requires that you carry on board
both charts and publications (such as light lists and tide tables) for
your intended voyage. The requirements are more stringent than for a
similar sized boat in US waters.

I understand the requirement for charts, but am wondering about the
light list and tide table requirements. Have any of you run afoul of
this requirement? Does an electronic tide table suffice (built into
chart plotter or available via PC)?

What other differences in CG requirements are there, and where can the
Canadian CG requirements be found?

I interpret that the length specified below being "greater than 40 feet in
length"
must refer to ON DECK and not include bow pulpit and swim platform.

Defever 41's are 41ft in OVERALL LENGTH including bow pulpit and swim
platform. I was there when mine was measured at a haul out yard.
