There is a trawler for sale here at Bradford Marine, parent company of The
Shipyard Group where I am a broker. This trawler is owned by the yard
superintendent and he has done extensive restoration to this boat during
slow periods in repair and refit work at the yard. The boat has been painted
from the boot stripe to the top of the new custom built aluminum mast. I
should mention that the boat is always kept under cover out of the Florida
sun. The varnish is perfect, all the teak has been removed except from the
cockpit, the enclosure is in great shape, the interior has new flooring in
the main salon, there is a new Corian galley and Corian dinette table, the
master stateroom has been reconfigured to make an island berth. Both the
interior and exterior is in amazingly good condition. To get an idea of the
craftsmanship that went into this beauty of a trawler, go to
www.bradford-marine.com http://www.bradford-marine.com/  and click on the
different departments. The same craftsman who work on the Megayachts, did
the work on this boat, and since it was for the boss, I am sure they did it
right.

The boat was built by HIPTIMCO in Hong Kong (Hip Shing Timber CO) to a Monk
design in 1982. The same yard built Eagle trawlers of that time period. It
is all fiberglass, 40', and powered with twin Lehman 120's. In my 10 years
of boat sales and 33 years of having a captain's license, I know it is
extremely rare to find a boat in this condition. The price of the boat is
$150,000 which is high for an older boat but I was totally amazed at the
condition of this boat. The new owner might want to wax the engines if he
wants to do a project!!!

There is a problem with suggesting that you look at Yacht World or my
website to see pictures of the boat. The owner, the superintendent here,
knows many yacht brokers and does not want to give a listing to any one of
them, so as not to offend all the others he knows. This boat will not be on
any internet sites, to get more information send to me an email and I will
return pictures to you. I apologize for doing it this way but it is the only
way the seller wants it done.
