Hey Neighbors,

There is a dog running up Heritage Pass who looks lost. She looks similar to a German Shepherd, and has a collar. She let my daughter pet her, but wouldn’t let her look at the collar and then a car came and she ran off.
We tried to follow but lost sight of her.

Hope she finds her way home!

Is there any chance it's the dog that Charming Pet Rescue is looking for that went missing from it's foster home in Fair Oaks yesterday? We can't attach pictures to emails but if you look on their Facebook page they posted about her yesterday, she has a blue collar. My husband saw the dog this AM across from 27622 and 27618 Heritage Pass. It is so cold outside. I’d bring her inside, but we have a dog and I am terrified of dogs.

My husband tried to approach her (I think it’s a ‘her’). But, she ran off. He let a bowl of water and some dog food across the street from our house. She ran off when he approached, but as he drove off, she went back to the food and water.

Thank you for the update. I have sent this info to Charming Pet Rescue. I really hope they are able to get her and she doesn't have to keep sleeping out in this cold. They have said she is super skittish with people she doesn't know, so hopefully they can come find her and she will come to them. Thank You,Amanda Thelemann
