I replaced the single step from my salon to my pilothouse in my trawler with what amounts to a box, for various practical reasons. I'd like to find a good home for the step I removed, which is a nice cherry-finish hardwood (I think cherry, but can't swear to it). It's fashioned as a companionway-type ladder with a single step; overall dimensions installed are about 20" tall and 20" deep (the direction of travel). Overall width is about 22.5" with a tread width of 20". The single step is at a height of about 10".
