BARNACLE GOOSE (Durham): Presumably the bird found by Dave Worthington on
October 1 in Whitby, one bird was found October 12 at Reesor Pond in
Markham and seen by many that day only.

Eurasian Wigeon (Bruce): The one found by Marilyn Ohler at the pond behind
the Independent Grocery Store in Saugeen Shores on October 6 was seen by
many to at least October 15.
Eurasian Wigeon (Leeds and Grenville): Jon Ruddy found one at the Long
Sault Parkway on October 15 that continued to at least October 17.

Harlequin Duck (Hamilton): Ellen and Jerry Horak photographed a male in
Stoney Creek off the end of Fruitland Rd on October 17.

Western Grebe (Toronto): One bird was seen by many at Colonel Sam Smith
Park October 13 and continued to at least October 17.

Hudsonian Godwit (Bruce): Erik Sein photographed one at the Oliphant Fen
Nature Preserve on October 12.
Hudsonian Godwit (Norfolk): Two birds were photographed from kayak off the
Big Creek causeway on October 17.

Marbled Godwit (Norfolk): One bird was photographed from kayak off the Big
Creek causeway on October 17.

Red Phalarope (Lambton): Brandon Holden reported one off Bright's Grove on
October 15.

Purple Sandpiper (Northumberland): Paul Martin and Paul Lagasi photographed
one at Owen Point, Presqu'ile PP on October 13.

Long-tailed Jaeger (Halton/Hamilton): Tim Lucas photographed two juveniles
from boat offshore of Hamilton on October 12.

ROSS'S GULL (Lambton): Brandon Holden reported an adult offshore Bright's
Grove on October 15.

Black-legged Kittiwake (Hamilton): Several observers reported an adult and
a juvenile off Van Wagner's Beach on October 13.

Sabin's Gull (Hamilton): Up to two birds were reported off Van Wagner's
Beach on October 13.
Sabine's Gull (Lambton): Several observers reported one bird off Point
Edward on October 14.

Arctic Tern (Lambton): Brandon Holden reported one off Bright's Grove on
October 15.

Pacific Loon (Simcoe): At least one bird continued off the Barrie
waterfront, mostly viewed from Minet's Point to at least October 15.

Western Cattle Egret (Chatham-Kent): Randy Mclin found one at Keith McLean
Conservation Lands that was seen by several others, all on October 14.

Glossy Ibis (Durham): One bird was seen and photographed by a few observers
at the Pickering Hydro Park marsh on October 14.

Black Vulture (Niagara): Up to two birds were reported this week from the
Queenston area.
Black Vulture (Simcoe): Willem Span photographed one over Alliston on
October 12.

Swainson's Hawk (Elgin): One bird was photographed at Hawk Cliff on October
14.
Swainson's Hawk (Essex): The same bird as seen October 14 at Hawk Cliff was
photographed at Holiday Beach on October 15.
Swainson's Hawk (Simcoe): James Boccia reported one over Barrie on October
14.

White-eyed Vireo (Lennox and Addington): Kurt Hennige photographed one at
Heritage Point in Bath on October 13.

Harris's Sparrow (Bruce): Lisa Weiler reported one visiting a feeder north
of Dorcas Bay October 13-15.
Harris's Sparrow (Essex): Anil Joshi photographed one along the West Beach
footpath on October 12 that was seen and photographed again October 13 by
Michael McAllister and Cameron Chevalier.
Harris's Sparrow (Lambton): Dan Birkenbergs reported one from the Cedar
Trail in Pinery PP.

Henslow's Sparrow (Norfolk): One bird was reported by LPBO staff at the tip
of Long Point October 12-14.
