REPLY: I am not a chemist or a plastics expert, but my experience with
the Weaver Davit system and their glue-on pads is that the the RIGHT
stuff was used the first time and instructions for applying it were
followed to the letter. I suspect the latter is your problem. You may
need a second mortgage to buy more glue from Weaver, its not cheap. But
call them and get their advice. When their stuff is applied properly, it
will last a long time. You probably are going to have to clean off the
old glue first, but again I would call Weaver. They have been helpful to
me in the past.
