I purchased this Octoclock-G nearly 1.5 yrs back. At that time ethernet support was not there. Now it seems to be there. What is required to do the same. Googling resulted in this -> http://files.ettus.com/manual/page_octoclock.html So in order to get Octoclock-G connected to my network I have to follow the link above ? Also isn't Octoclock-G plug and ply device. I mean even without networking it will work right ? -- Sumit kumar

Hi Sumit, The Octoclock-G ships with a firmware image that only supports the clock distribution without Ethernet support. It is plug and play for clock distribution. The Ethernet support provides access to the NMEA strings from the GPSDO. To get Ethernet support, the new firmware must be loaded. As you found, the instructions to load the firmware are at http://files.ettus.com/manual/page_octoclock.html. The firmware image for the latest UHD release (3.9.1) includes Ethernet support. Hi Michael, Thanks for your reply. I think I will continue with non-ethernet version. My application doesn't need NMEA thing as of now.
