THIS WEEK IN TRI CLUB (March 28-APRIL 3) and WINTER GFC WEEK 12 ROLL CALL!

This is a week of transition as we begin the move from the winter
(January-March) weekly workout calendar to the spring (April-June) weekly
workout calendar.  This includes moving our Tues/Thurs/Sat bike rides from
spin/Zwift to outdoors and moving our weekly run workout from Wednesdays to
Mondays.  Early in the spring, such as this week, due to weather conditions
we may still occasionally be indoors, so watch for updates regarding the
plans for each workout.

And to help you prepare for open water swims, our head coaching team will
also be leading two special "indoor OWS practice" sessions on Monday, April
4 and Wednesday, April 27... See "Events" for details.

This is also the final week of the winter Gator Fitness Challenge, which
ends next Sunday, April 3.  If you have been participating, great, finish
strong!  If you have not been participating, this could be the week to jump
in to get your spring training into gear!

We will also have our annual one day Infinit Performance Nutrition all day
on Wednesday, so be sure to take advantage of that!

And we end the week with the Tri for the Y indoor triathlon on Sunday,
April 3.  At last count registration was very low, so if you were planning
to participate, please register in the next 1-2 days as a go/no go decision
on the event will happen mid-week.

12 (March 21-27) of the winter GFC! If you completed at least one of the
two challenges, please post a comment...

• "SBR" if you completed the Swim/Bike/Run Challenge (40 minutes of each)

• "SCF" if you completed the Strength/Core/Flexibility Challenge (45
minutes total of any combination) AND/OR...

• "Both" if you were a week 1 superstar and completed both challenges!

Spin/Strength workout coached by Logan Washburn... We wanted to move
outside, but it's going to be wintry temperatures, so we'll stay indoors
for one more week!

• Thursday 3/31, evening: TBD cycling workout... We'll either be outside
for a 6pm-7:15pm SRT out and back ride (starting at the Dog Park) or inside
for a 7:30pm-8:30pm Zwift meetup... A decision will be announced by end of
day, Tuesday.

• Saturday 4/2: Cycling workout? There is no planned workout at this time,
but depending on the weather conditions, we may offer an  outdoor uncoached
group ride or an indoor Zwift cycling meetup.  A decision on this will be
announced no later than Thursday.

• CLUB EVENT: Sunday 4/3, morning, Spring Valley YMCA: Tri for the Y Indoor
Triathlon.  We need athletes and volunteers!  If you would like to do
