Rudy- just be sure she uses certified Lead paint. Personal experience with a painted transducer. First season we had our boat we got bottom painted and the yard worker that did the actual rolling put a couple of nice thick coats on the transducer. Drove us nuts for an entire year as to why we could no longer get a depth reading at under 10’.
